How it works

Players are drawn into fixed two-man teams — blind draw or hand-picked — and each team plays net best ball: on every hole the team takes the better net of its two partners, summed over 18. Lowest team total wins.

The payout

Everyone buys into one pot that pays the top teams on a steep, top-weighted curve where each paying place is worth double the next (two places → 67/33, three → 57/29/14), in whole dollars with any remainder added to first.

Good to know

  • Blind draw can avoid pairing players from the same group; once drawn, teams hold for the tournament.
  • Best with four or more even players; net scoring throughout.
Worked example
8 players, $20 each

A $160 pot, four teams, top two paid (67/33). Your team posts the low net best-ball total — you and your partner split about $107, and second place splits $53.
